A dive school that picked the warm side.
ReefBound started after one too many checkout weekends in a cold Alberta lake. Visibility under a metre, fingertips numb, students wondering if they'd actually enjoy the sport once it was over. We knew there was a better way: bring the classroom and pool work home, and bring the ocean dives to the ocean.
We're a small operation by design. Every student we certify gets one of our instructors in the water with them on every dive — through their first regulator recovery in the pool, all the way to a Cozumel wall at 25 metres.

Safety as a habit, not a slogan
Predive checks on every entry. Conservative profiles. We dive within limits and we teach you why those limits exist.
Real instruction, not certification mills
Groups are capped at six divers, with exceptions for all-friends-and-family bookings who want to learn together. We don't graduate divers who aren't ready — we just keep diving with you until you are.
We dive what we teach
Our instructors are in the water hundreds of times a year. The advice you'll get is current, not from a 2003 textbook.
